New here, also a circumcision question

I am new here, from the Dec 2011 board. Our Christmas baby came a little early, and is a little over a week old now. We had planned to have him circumcised, and I had mostly left it up to FI, as I don't have those parts to know what would be best etc. Now that he's here, we still plan on it, and I just made the appointment for it, but I find myself really dreading the whole thing. I know that it's done a lot, and he'll be fine, I just hate the idea of hurting him...I can hardly deal with the few blood draws he's needed. I am in need of some sort of advice, and no drama or flaming PLEASE, I know everyone has strong opinions on this subject... Thanks!
