Another question about naps

My LO is 2 1/2 months and he was napping about 1 and half hours per nap, then it was around 45 minutes per nap, now today his first two naps were only 30 minutes. His 3rd nap of the day is typically about 2 hours and his 4th nap is about 40 minutes and those naps have stayed pretty consistent lately. I also am trying to get him to sleep in his crib gradually and it seems that his naps are shorter in there. Just curious how your LO's naps are going and how successful you were at transitioning to a crib from a Rock N Play (or whatever you used). I thought naps were were supposed to get longer, not shorter, so am curious to hear. It just doesn't seem like my LO gets enough sleep and he sure isn't making up for it by STTN. TIA!
