cramping- not going away- normal?

I'm going to try and have a little caffeine and see if perhaps its intestinal, but I'm having menstrual-like cramping just above my pubic bone. It doesnt go away with laying down/ water/changing positions. Is it possible this is still round lig pain? I don't remember it being so constant and achy. I remember rl pain being sharp and short.......thoughts? going to call dr if still here in 1/2 hr....
