If you have an evening routine...

How did you start it?  If you feed LO on demand, how do you get into any sort of routine?  DD will sometimes sleep a little longer in the evening (nothing consistent), and so I don't feel like we can get any sort of schedule.  And I see a lot of you say your routine includes bath time - but my pedi said to give a bath every 3 or 4 days.  On the nights where you don't give LO a bath, isn't the "routine" the same that night as it is during the day? (change, feed...??)  I would just like to see a differentiation between day and night, but as she has no consistent schedule, all of my days run together and are continuous.
