Foremilk/hind milk imbalance??

My doctor thought LO had reflux and he is on medication for it, but none of the medication is working.  So I started doing a little research and I'm pretty sure that LO is getting too much foremilk.  He has a large majority of the symptoms described.  Has anybody else had this problem?  How did you deal with it?  Ive started block feeding but my other breast gets so engorged that when it's time to feed him on that side it's miserable for him.  Do I just have to deal with that and my supply will eventually regulate itself?  Tia!
