help! need cheap/free gift ideas

Not only are we totally broke this year (literally). I am desperate for free or really, really cheap gift ideas for loved ones.

This is all I have thus far:

I'm making some scarves for people with yarn we already

I have two unfinished bird houses I will paint for my mother and MIL

I have some seeds we harvested from our garden and I'm going to make some pretty, decorated envelopes/containers to put them in

That's all I got. TIA for any ideas you have.
