This Week's Leaders in 3rd Trimester

Babies: 0 - 3 Months

My poor baby has DDH

December 2011 in Babies: 0 - 3 Months

So, it was confirmed yesterday that my baby girl has left hip dysplasia (her hip is dislocated). It is not painful as none of her joints have formed yet (she is two weeks old). I will be going Monday to an orthopedist and she will have to wear a brace for 3-6 months. I feel bad for her. But, she has such a great temperment that I doubt it will bother her. I just wish she didn't have to wear the damn thing Sad
