swollen feet/ankles

hey mommas, any of you experience an increase in how swollen your legs got AFTER birth? i had very little swelling throughout my pregnancy, but after having our son on the 13th, i looked down at my feet in the hospital and they are huge! i know its normal for them to swell up, i was more curious as to how long it took for them to go back to normal..

anyone have any tips besides elevating them? they are MONSTERS right now!
