Rant...FFS, knowing the sex of my baby is not required!!

Why on earth do people (who usually BTW really have no business even having an opinion) get so crazy bent out of shape when parents don't want to know the sex of their babies? It means just as much to me that I not know as it does to someone who just is dying to know. I just don't understand the pushiness and feeling of bewilderment from people. It's not your baby!! Gah and I am going to be no more or less prepared for my child than I would be if I knew their sex. How much pink and/or blue clothes do people really think newborns need anyway!?
