Birth control to skip period - spotting?

I started taking aviane 2 months ago and with my doc's approval, i skipped the sugar pills to delay my period. I'm on day 5 of the new pack and just started spotting for the past 2 days. I wantd to know if I should start taking the sugar pills now (mid pack) to just get my period over with while i'm already spotting, or do I continue the pack as I was? and spot possibly for awhile when i'm gonna get my period in a week or 2 anyway.

Advicec? (My doc sin't in today.
