How is your LO STTN???

I've ben reading alot of posts about LO's sttn or at least 5hr stretches.HOW??? My new little guy is only giving me 2hr stretches at night and he eats so much during the day. i'm breastfeeding and the past few days i've been pumping just to see if he's really eating and he'a averaging about 3oz every2.5hrs. he always seems hungry i don't know if i should supplement with formula at night or start cereal. I just don't know if i'm doing something wrong he just seems like he's starving at night!!
