Yellow projectile vomit

This morning about an 1.5 after our 7am feeding my LO was asleep in his bouncey seat and threw up all over himself and the seat out of nowhere.  He had a good burp after feeding and hasn't acted weird or anything.  I took his temp and it was normal, but I was concerned about the color of the vomit and the amount.  He threw up about 2-3 tablespoons.  Then I changed and he had been back to sleep ever since.  Anyone else had a similar experience??  It really freaked me out, so I did call the doctor just to calm my nerves :-)
