Sleeping soundly?

My newborn is eleven days old. When he sleeps, absolutely nothing will wake him. He's very underweight and lost too much weight in the beginning so we're supposed to feed him every hour to three. When he sleeps way too long, I've tried to wake him to feed, but nothing at all could wake him.

Do all newborns sleep like rocks, or is it just him?
