He should be sleeping HOW long?!

At Liam's 2 month check up today, the doctor said baby should be sleeping six hours at a time at night.

I WISH! Tell me I'm not crazy...He still eats every 3 hours at night! Granted, we just transitioned him to his crib. When he was sleeping in our room, he slept 4 or even 5 hours sometimes. How often does/did your LO wake up at 9 weeks old? What can I do to prompt him to sleep longer at night?
