December 2011 in Babies: 0 - 3 Months

as coddling your newborn too much? LO is 8 days old and everytime he cries, I rush over to pick him up. Sometimes all he wants is to be held because he will stop crying immediately after I pick him up. I don't want him to be too coddled, but I feel like it's my job to cater to every demand at this point. Am I setting myself up for future problems? At what age does it change from meeting his needs to spoiling him?
