Tummy sleepers with paci

If your LO sleeps on their tummy with a paci, do you ever have issues with the paci falling out and their face rolling on it and them waking up? I'm convinced that DS is still waking several times through the night for soothing only and not hunger. So when he woke up this last time I went in and gave home his paci. It lasted about fifteen minutes and then he started with his frustration cry. When I got to him the paci was under his cheek and he was mad. How exactly do pacis work for tummy sleepers?
