Gripe water question

I read someone suggestion giving their LO gas drops after they eat. I have been giving her little tummy gripe water before she eats. Is that backwards? The box doesnt say when to give it to them. It also says you can mix it with water and give it to them in a bottle, but it doesnt say how much water. She has been using gas drops for about 4 days. Im not seeing much of an improvement. Maybe im doing it wrong? Or does it just take a while to see results? Or maybe I should try mommys bliss instead??
