Syr- Polar Express party tonight at the MOST - Sensory Friendly

There is a Polar Express sensory friendly party tonight at the MOST!  Best part, it is only $2 to get in to the MOST.  You would have to pay regular price for the IMAX movie @7 if you want to do that.  It is a sensory friendly even which means many of the overwhelming exhibits and noises will be off or turned down, anyone who has been there probably knows the sounds I am talking about.  It is open to anyone with or without sensory needs, great time for little ones who may not have sensory needs but still feel overwhelmed by strange noises!  Here is the info.

We are going to the party, but not the movie because it is just too late.

This event is designed for any children with sensory processing difficulties, regardless of diagnosis. If a child has difficulty with the overstimulating sensory environment at the MOST, this event is designed for them.

In preparation for A Sensory Friendly Time many exhibits will be adjusted so they are more comfortable for sensory processing difficulties. These adjustments include lowering loud noises, eliminating flashing lights, silencing the air compressors that control some of the exhibits, offering "quiet" areas where participants can sit,
relax and regroup.

The volume will be adjusted for this special showing of Polar Express to assist our kiddos with sensory difficulties.
