PP bleeding ? again...

I'm 6 weeks PP today and i haven't completely stopped bleeding after my C-section yet.... it slowed down a little around 4 weeks and then started up again a few days ago...enough that i have to wear a pad... i'm on birth control (Loestrin 24fe), so i don't think its my period yet... i still have 2 1/2 weeks before i should be expecting it.  But last night it was VERY heavy... like full blown period...and now this morning its back to light spotting... is this normal or should i be calling my doctor?? Could this just be from the birth control?
