Milk Protein Allergy-how do you know?

With all the posts about dairy effecting your little ones, it got me wondering if that is what is bothering my DS.  Recently he has begun spitting up either right after or an hour later after nursing.  He doenst spit up a ton, but makes me concerned since he wasn't spitting up before.  He nurses about every 2 1/2-3 hours round the clock.  When he sleeps he tosses and turns and grunts to pass gas...does this sound like any of your babies? Hoping this isnt a completely stupid question
