PP bleeding or period?

Hi there.

   I am 5 weeks pp.  I had heavy bleeding for the first few days, then it tapered off to light bleeding for about a week or 2, then brown spotting (sometimes nothing, sometimes a bit of spotting).  Now, the last 2 days or so, it became red again, and a heavier flow (not that heavy, but kind of like the 3rd day of your period).  So, would this maybe considered me starting my period?  I don't have any cramps or anything.  Or is this just the pp bleeding coming back/continuing?
