bleeding, how much is normal?

I had my baby girl 10 days ago and for the past few days my bleeding has almost completly stopped (only been wearing a liner) but last night I suddenly started bleeding a TON (read bled thru a heavy pad and all over my sheets, etc...) I have also been having some clots.

I feel like I am bleeding now MORE than I did in the days right after giving birth.

IS this normal? At what point do should I be concerned enough to call my midwives...
