the trials of moving to the crib - must plow on

dd is 10 wks old.  we've been working to move her from rnp to crib last 5 nights.  first night she did well though took much longer to get her to stay down but then last four nights have been crummy and up a lot or taking forever to get her down - eyes just pop open even when seems totally asleeo

I want to keep trying and be consistent but it is so hard - she doesn't seem to cry or be upset in the crib just doesnt/cant get to sleep.  I hoped we could start seeing if drowsy worked but now doubtful.  she is also hard on naps - i had come to terms with 45 min naps just more often and that was working but this week she it is easy to get her asleep but then i put her down and bam - awake.

lots more spit up too  

I get dismayed when i read about others who made this transition easily.
