Wanted to share my "still" day

With all the court, holiday schedules, newbies, and he is just plain a DB posts...I thought I would share my thoughts from yesterday.

For me yesterday was a still day, not in that I stood or sat still but despite all the crap that comes with the first post divorce/single parent holiday:

I still taped DD's first solid feeding even though it was just us two

I still took DD to see Santa

I still got our little family holiday cards taken

And despite being in my folks house for our first Christmas (and having to work Christmas day) I got DD and I a little 2 foot tree for our space downstairs (thank you Target).

These are things I didn't think may happen, but they did. Still, despite everything else
