restless while sleeping?

We bed share and i have noticed in the last couple of weeks that my 11 week old son tosses and turns all night as if he cant get comfortable, sometimes putting his paci in can get him back to sleep sometimes he just tosses and turns until he finally falls back to sleep-which keeps me up! does anyone elses little one do this? just wondering if its pretty common? maybe its time for him to see if he can sleep  by himself
