So frustrated with DH!!

We keep having the same "discussion" about letting DD CIO. I am totally against it but he keeps bringing it up and say that we should try it. She is barely a month old!

His co-workers/employees are telling him I hold DD too much and that I shouldn't rush to pick her up when she cries because it'll develop a bad habit. He thinks I should just put her down and if she cries, let her cry. His reasoning is "she'll stop eventually."

It is so frustrating and getting to the point that I don't want to leave her with him for long periods of time since he might just let her cry if she starts. He knows that research says it is too early to let her CIO, but he says "how do they know?"

How do I make him realize that it is too early and change his way of thinking (if it's even possible)?
