recommend your carrier

LO is 5 weeks old and weighs 8lbs 3oz. What carrier would be best for "wearing" her around the house or out and about? She's great at entertaining herself wile laying down but i'd feel better about it if i could keep a better eye on her while i'm shuffling from room to room sometimes. Also i heard that carrying her up right helps w/ gas thru the day. So... what carrier works well with small infants and isn't too obnoxious to get on and off?
