Trip to ER then first U/S

So I started having sharp pains on my left side today. Attempted to simply make an ob appt, but they told me to go to the ER. So off I went...

Got an ultrasound and saw our baby's heartbeat! WOW! What an experience! So emotional! Happy and relieved!

Turns out it was probably just ligament pain, but at least I know now and can ignore it next time it happens (no more worries about ectopic etc).

Anyways, the ER fee and hours of waiting/testing totally worth it
