Same routine for naps as nighttime?

At night, I put DD in the Halo sleep sack, turn on the sound machine, feed, burp, and put her down.Works well for us.

For daytime naps, she sleeps in my arms and screams if I put her down. Can I use the same routine to put her down for naps? 

I try not to use the sleep sack during the day because she hates having her arms bound, but I get NOTHING done all day because I'm holding her.
