1st appt today and u/s

I finally had my first appointment today with the midwife that I usually see for my annual paps.  She was very excited that we got pregnant around the time we had wanted (we wanted a summer baby).  She did an external u/s and we were able to see the baby swimming around the uterus and saw a heartbeat!  I am very relieved that there is actually a baby in there and so now hopefully I can relax and do the normal things I've been avoiding (like exercising and sex) b/c I didn't want to hurt the baby or see any spotting!  She gave me a lecture on eating only heathly things and exercising

Guess it's real and I am going to be a mom! (hopefully)
