Almost got called out at work (by total accident!)

I work in a sea of cubicals with absolutely no privacy.  I was on the phone with someone I do business with to discuss an account.  I said out lout "I usually talk to Jane about this account,and she wanted to wait until she got back from maternity leave". 

I get off the phone and the guy who sits behind me jumps up, gives me a totally puzzled look and says "you are going on maternity leave?!?!?!"

My face turned bright red - I am a horrible liar.  I totally tried to play it off and tell him what actually happened.  Luckily he didn't say it loud enough that I had to explain to the entire office.
