Halloween Insensitivity

DH, LO and I were supposed to go to a Halloween party on Sat. night, but stayed home because DH has strep throat, and LO has a cold... Well, the hostess of the party put some pics up on Facebook, and one of the attendees was dressed as Michael Vick (from the Philly Eagles), complete with blackface!

I am really glad we didnt go to the party now, because I would NOT have been able to hold my tongue. Why on Earth do people still find it acceptable to wear Blackface in ANY context? Just because its Halloween doesnt make it rght!
