Called out at work...

I work with one of my best friends. She does not know I'm pregnant yet. She did know about my miscarriage last time.

I was talking to her in the kitchen during a work happy hour. She told me there was wine, but i just changed the subject. Then our admin, who knows I love pinot grigio, is all "did you have some Pinot Grigio? I bought it JUST FOR YOU!!!!". Really, really, really loudly. And there were about 20 people in the kitchen. Thanks! I hightailed it out of there.. it's too early to announce my pregnancy at work, and if anyone would know first, it would have been my friend!

This is the problem when people know how much you love wine... it's very hard to hide when you're not actually drinking!
