How to stay awake?

So, one of my biggest symptoms these days is being tired all the time!  It's really affecting my work.  I've been getting somewhere between 8-10 hours of sleep at night, I'm putting lemon wedges in my water because I heard that can help wake you up, I've also tried peppermint and nothing.  I don't want to turn to caffeine, so does anyone have any suggestions?
