First appointment a blur!

Appointment was right at an hour and wow a lot was done fast.  I was seen right away, had to pee in a cup, take weight & blood pressure...then off to the u/s room.  They did an internal u/s but unfortunately there wasn't a heart dopler speaker so we couldn't HEAR the heart beat..but we saw it loud and strong.  It was exciting.  Baby looks like a lima bean to me.  I had a pap and then off to be drained of 3 vials of blood.  Next apt. in 4 weeks where they'll do a family history and another small u/s to measure thickness of neck (I'm sure there is a test word for that but I just don't know what it's called, sorry)  Then back again Dec. 19th.  The next two months are gonna be busy!

Thanks for all the T&P...seems we have a healthy beating heart and a busy little bean!
