Novacaine & Pregnancy...?

Good Morning!

I was just looking over my calendar for the upcoming month and realized I had made a dental appointment to get two small cavities filled (I made the appointment before knowing I was pregnant). The appointment is in two weeks. I have been trying to find answers online - but without much luck. I do plan on calling my dentist's office at lunchtime -but thought I'd bounce this off of you to see if anyone has had experience with this in the past...Is it safe, or is it something I should put off?
