first u/s and yolk sac?

I just had my first u/s and confirmed I am 8 weeks along.  I was suprised to see the yok sac in the picture. Guess we just caught it as I read it disappears around 8 weeks.  I also had a transvaginal u/s which also surprised me.  Anyone else have one of these and see the yolk sac also?
