Was anyone else told a different EDD than they expected?

I had my first appointment yesterday and got an internal U/S.  Based on my LMP, I'd calculated myself to be in my 7th week, but the dr. said I was about 6 weeks along.  Totally not sure how this is possible, but he said we'll get a better estimation when I go back in 2 weeks for bloodwork and another U/S.  He was trying to suggest that my LMP actually came a week later than it did---I was like NO!  I think I remember!  Anybody else have this experience?
