3D Ultrasounds???

My Doctor also told me at my first appointment today NOT to get a 3D/4D ultrasound that you can buy.  We have a place that sells them in Baton Rouge & he said it's like submitting your baby to 4 ultrasounds at once & was not good for their brain & development?  Idk.  Just wanted to share & see what your opinions were.  He said a lot of these places get away with not getting shut down by calling it "taking pictures," but that they aren't doctors and cannot make good health related decisions for baby?  He was the Chief of Staff for Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge & I chose him b/c he is very knowledgeable & has an awesome rep.  This was NOT what I was expecting him to say today...
