When to tell the big sister?

While I'm thinking about it... When is the best time to tell our daughter? My very excited husband has already told everyone REALLY early which I'm not fond of, but we are not sure when to tell our 3 year old girl. Obviously we want to wait to hear the heart beat first and make sure everything is ok before we tell her, but we also feel like it is a long time for her to wait to meet her sibling. Any advise on when and how to tell her?
