Why won't you call me back?!

I really want to use a midwife so I submitted my intake application thanksgiving weekend. monday i got an email saying they review intakes on fridays and will be in touch shortly to let me know if the can take me into their care. It's now wednesday and I haven't heard anything via phone/e-mail. I'm thinking of calling tomorrow, does that sound reasonable?
