After calling the office about 5 times (apparently no one at DIA was in a hurry to send results and the peds office wasn't in a hurry to pressue them to send them - but I was) we finally got the start of an answer. No early fusing! This is GREAT news. We are being referred to a neurologist at Children's to look into the possibility of a helmet. What still concerns me is E's dr. saw a protrusion out of his skull above his right eye - which doesn't jive with the idea of a traditional flat spot (and his is very large anyway). But I'm focused on the words - "No early fusing, no abnormalities, no brain damage." At this point, one day at a time.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
