I went to the flu shot clinic this morning on my way into work.  30 minutes ahead of my usual schedule, but I know it's important to get a shot.  I work for a major hospital system, and they require you are vaccinated or you have to sign a waiver.

My ob's office is running low on vaccinations, but I told her it's no problem since I have to get one at work anyway.

 Simple? I thought so!

The flyer that the hospital has plastered everywhere and emailed (TWICE) lists the times and locations of the flu shot clinics, and additional information that says you'll have so sign a waiver if you refuse, and that the vaccine is dead. (YAY! safe for me!)

I used to work on campus, so it was sooooo easy.  Now I work across the city.

Hence my early AM commute. without caffeine.   I make it to the clinic with plenty of time, get all signed in when the nurse asks "are you pregnant?"

yep. I am. "ohhh. I can't give you a vaccine without a note from your OB. sorry. Hospital Policy."
