Thoughts on the flu shot?

The doctor asked me yesterday if I wanted to get a flu shot, and I told him no. He seemed very adamant about giving me one, I just don't like them and never have. I know it is coming on flu season, and the baby could get really sick if I do end up getting the flu. I just don't feel right about it.
