Seeing my doctor today - am I too dramatic?

I have been having horrible m/s well.... all day sickness really.  Vomiting multiple times a day and constant nausea.  I made an appointment to see my doctor today because I feel like I am getting really dehydrated and am unable to keep any food down.

Am I being really too dramatic?  First time mom/pregnancy and I have no idea.  All of my friends are jerks and never had any m/s....

What do you guys think?  DH is being a champ and getting me some powerade after school to hopefully hydrate me.
