Yay or Nay this reveal idea

We still need to tell my husbands family that we are pregnant.  We really want to wait until the entire family is together.  I think next week we will all get together for my brother-in-laws birthday.  We are thinking of getting him two presents, but one of the presents would be full of baby items, I love my uncle bibs, etc.  We would let him in on it earlier that day and make sure he's okay with it, but I think it will be the only way the entire family will be in the same room focused on one thing without them getting suspicious.

What do you think?  I don't think my BIL would have a problem at all with us using his Birthday for the reveal (and we will ask if he's okay with it earlier that day), but if it's horribly obnoxious please let me know.
