Spotting?

Has anyone else had this? I did last night and it was only one spot. I went to one of the ERs here in town (the DH took me to the one I told him not to take me to since I have no intentions of having the baby there) and everything came back normal (hCG levels approx. 10500 @ 5 and a half weeks, but I thought that was low considering it can be up to 100000; and they're pretty sure they saw the yolk sac, but not 100% positive... More like 80%). A nurse said spotting, especially just once, is normal since it's so vascular down there. I'm really confused! Now, the doctor's office at the other hospital refuses to do the follow up bloodwork (which I need on Monday) and u/s until my appointment on the 25th since I went to the hospital across the way. HELP!
