Ok, so I'll ask the question..

What is a beta level and HG something level? This is my second pregnancy and for both, I had sex, I peed on a stick, waited 9 months and had a baby. I've been a bit confused by all the code talk, but figured I wouldn't stress about it.

Now I'm just curious. Can someone fill me in?
