Missing work for Dr. appointments

Has anyone felt weird not telling their boss the reasoning for your Dr appts?  I had to go in last week for my first appt. & then twice this week for my blood tests.  Next week or the one after will be the first u/s.   I feel like he's going to start getting concerned, especially b/c I ended up working from home today after passing out from getting my blood drawn.  I'm afraid they'll start thinking there's something seriously wrong (I never miss work or have appts).

Do you think I should go ahead and tell ahead before the end of the 1st tri?  Or should I just let him wonder b/c he doesn't really need to know?
