Told My Family

So today I finally told my family that I was expecting. I really wanted to wait for my first appointment, but since that isn't until mid November and I'll be traveling a lot soon, I decided it was probably best that I let everyone know now! My husband and I will be giving birth to the first grandchild on both sides of the family. Everyone was so excited but in shock! My dad says he feels like he is in a dream and my mom cried her eyes out before she even opened the gift that would give it away. It went a lot better than I expected and it was a lot of fun to finally share the secret. It was such a relief!
